I am Fons Blomhert, living in the beautiful city of Nijmegen, and from a young age, I've been fascinated by everything related to food and drink. I try to combine that passion as best as I can with my work: first on the shop floor, then in a more overarching role in trade magazines, facilitating networking groups, and organizing study trips. And nowadays, as an account manager for Vlasschuur! Because how wonderful is it to contribute to the success of some of the finest food companies in the Netherlands?!

Friends describe me as curious, resourceful, and enthusiastic. These traits lead to great conversations and collaborations, both professionally and personally.

Outside of my work at Vlasschuur, you can often find me in the gym—after all, that passion for food needs to be balanced out occasionally. Additionally, I have a deep passion for nature. Hiking, cycling, kayaking, and most of all, going on safari!
